There seems to be no end to the idiots in GW who piss me off. There's especially more of them on the weekends.

1) Don't complain about trade spam in the all chat of Ascalon, Droknar, War Camp, or Lion's Arch District 1. Either turn off the all chat channel, move to a different district, or RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO off!

2) When I say that I'm only paying 50k for something, I mean I'm paying 50k for something. If you offer the item for 60k, I will politely turn down your offer the first one or two times. The more you spam me, the more I want to bash your RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing head into the wall.

3) When I say I'm selling something at 100k, I don't need you retarded RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOers to tell me it's worth 50k. I don't care what Jaimie, Sally, David, Adam, Joseph, Richard, and their brothers and sisters and cousins are selling it at. I'm selling it at 100k so shut the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up.

If you don't like my prices, buy your shit elsewhere. I don't need to cater to your every need. This isn't the damn customer service counter.

4) Because you are the only current player buying or selling whatever it is in that current district at that moment does not mean I must buy or sell to your defective ass.

My ignore list is filled up from the number of dumbRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs out there and I need to keep adding more.

I am very civil to those who are civil in return. However if people insist on being snot picking whiny little children I will not hold back on my vulgarity.

That's the real reason why I ask PieXags or someone from here to help me trade and sell items. I can't trust anyone that well in this game as much as I can on a few other ones...

People act like jerks on computers because they think there kool and/or tuff but let it go because we all know that...

1: 'Jerks' will only talk shit threw a computer because they know they cant fight in real life.
2: Most of them are only around 10 years old.
3: They are those kids who get picked on at school so they try to be tuff on computers.

very true, they cant do shit in real life, so they finding some sort of achievement in game.

but if u show them, you are better than them in game in certain areas, they will start to ask u to get a life.

What achievement? You are right on the 'get a life' thing but I just laugh at it because it makes them an Asshole + a Hipacrit

In regards to 2: No, not really, most 10 year olds can't type fast enough to keep up with those of us who spend a great deal of time infront of a keyboard. They will however, make some very stupid and frustrating mistakes which the team (or their parent) might not think is funny, however, they're here to play a game and have fun, same as everyone else.

Default hmm asses...

I can remember quite a few asses, but not peciffic convosations with them.. People that i think are asses fit into a few catagories:

Those that don't listen to the party leader and or just rush off and expect to be healed when they are four million miles away.

And as a monk, those that expect to be ressed immedietly after dying when a big fight rages around there corpse and the party is getting haggered:
"Ress Plz" "Rez plz" RES PLZ" - Errr... What res you and let the rest of the party die? Yeah good plan.....

And those that have a go at monks all time: Dont these people realise that managing your energy AND keeping everyone alive can get very difficult at times, and even if you go through an entire mission and do the job suburbly and near the end one of these asses die, they start screaming that your crap??? Two things, mistakes happen and sometimes your allready casting on someone or them and they take say 200dmg... What can you do?

Hmmm the biggest jerk I have ever met... would have to be in droknars forge. Me an a couple of other guys were fooling around, and one guy said touch me and win 100000000000000k, so I said the same thing, and a guy freaked out on me when I said I was just joking. He kept on messaging me for atleast an hour callling me a faggot, and kept saying that he would report me and I would lose my account.

The forum scripts substitute every bad 4-letter word with the string "RED ENGINE GO", without a space-character at the end of GO.

ok, here's my jerk story, it kind of relates to the whole theory of having the best equips won't make you a good player in the game. it also conects to my peeve of people bringing elite skills to ascalon arena and thinking that they are 'teh pwn' becuase of it.

i'm in ascalon arena on a Me/N designed to hex the living hell out of a single target of my choosing using illusion hexes and curses, with no elite skills. i may have had skills from as far as adcalon settlement, but that was it, as well as wearing standard ascalon armor. anyway, some one from the opposing team puts in all chat: "attack me and die." well, i was curious about this guy, so i attack him. he focuses on me, and uses illusionary weapons. note that he was a Me/W with droks armor. well.... he didn't exactly kill me, instead he got - drain enchantment, soul barbs, conjure phantasm, phantom pain, energy tap, parasitic bond, another conjure phantasm and ether feast... well, it was some time ago, so i'm not sure if i actualy finished my combo, but regardless, he did die, retorting at me that if he saw me in the arena again he would kill me.

I totally agree, anyone who insults someone and then leaves before you can defend yourself obviously can't believe they are in the right and are just being a jerk. I get this a lot with my monk, who tends to be blamed by dead aggro magnets after they have pulled 3 or 4 groups of bad guys and promptly get nailed despite my best efforts

...or even their primary. The reaction I have had from some people from saying I have a couple of smiting spells has shocked me, I have even been kicked straight away from a couple of groups of jerks. I am careful to not let their use get in the way of my healing but I enjoy doing a bit of damage with my monk (especially vs undead with the double damage from holy magic ), and I don't see why I should reduce my enjoyment of playing because somebody thinks I won't do a good enough job

I agree wholeheartedly. People are trying to form groups, in LA for example, and all we see is the same half a dozen people, spamming numerous items over the local channel. It really is selfish and inconsiderate.

Anet did a good job in designing the Elona Reach mission. This is the real test to see if a player plays like an absolute jerk, or whether a player has patience and is willing to learn how to do things in a correct manner.

This mission is incredibly easy to do (without bonus at least). But everything that a person can do wrong in this game can be done here leading to failure. Failing to lure, attacking groups that don't need to be attacked, not going after healers first, and lack of teamwork. And of course the real key here is listening to someone who has done it before and who knows what path to take so that you don't have to fight the huge number of mobs in the middle.

This mission shows who the real "jerkey" players are. Good job Anet!

I am an example of this...if anyone insults me I respond with something like "I would normally quit if someone insults me but thats not fair on the other members of the team, one more chance". If it happens again I apologise to the other members of the team and make sure they know I'm leaving because of the insults before transporting out. Its harsh on the others but its the only way people will learn that there are repercussions for using bad language and behaviour. It doesnt bother me, I can find plenty of groups where everyone treats me with as much respect as I treat them

Just tried RoF with a half Guild / half PUG group. Everything was going okay until the pick-up Monk starts trying to give my Guild leader advice on how to be a good Monk (we had three Monks, myself, my Guild leader and this other guy). Basically, this other Monk thought he knew best and he didn't, and the whole group fell apart. Funniest part was, whilst my face was buried in the ground, this other Monk used the exact same skills that he'd said weren't effective.
